<p>Is it more akin to the humanities or sciences? If someone is pretty crappy at science labs, can he still succeed in this field as say, an archaeologist?</p>
<p>It's really a social science and if you're crappy at science labs focusing on social/cultural anthropology as opposed to biological anthropology is probably better.</p>
<p>I used to be interested in archaeology and anthropology and a local archaeologist recommended the University of Calgary and Boston University (so you might look into their programs). And at the Uni. of Calgary you can get a B.A. or BSc. in Anthropology or Archaeology.</p>
