<p>The anthropology department at SC is part of USC College. The chairman of the department is Dr. Nancy Lutkehaus. Degrees offered are: BA, MA and Ph.D. Popular concentrations are in visual anthropology and urban applied anthropology. </p>
<p>The department is noted for the Jane Goodall Center and particular strength in the field of biological anthropology.</p>

There is much more information about courses, concentrations and goals of the department. Also, SC maintains a study center in Africa. Dr. Jane Goodall has donated her journals, photos, records and documents to the department.</p>
