<p>I spent a day on WashU's campus and observed some pretty blatant self segregation. It's everywhere. At least Vandy's administration & some students are facing the reality and attempting to make a change. (note: I'm not saying that WashU has a problem ... I just note that as another school where I saw self segregation)</p>
<p>I live in the midwest, where race relations are supposedly better than they are in the south. However, blacks & whites still congregate in separate cities ... or in separate neighborhoods within larger cities. Just because it's "quiet" doesn't mean segregation does not exist.</p>
<p>Racism and self-segregation will always exist why can't people just wake up and focus on more important issues like Genocide in Darfur or winning the war on Radical Islam. Selfish of you don't you think?</p>

<p>KAs at a lot of schools have black brothers. It's not as racist nationally as it's made out to be. There are definitely racist frats at Vanderbilt though no good can come from denial.</p>
<p>I was being sarcastic...Vandy's KA is notorious for its racist brothers. As I mentioned their house has a large portrait of General Lee and a cannon on their porch pointed to the North not to mention the Confederate flags and stickers on their cars. Kids should just grow up, read a book, and accept the fact that the North won.</p>
<p>I can name a Jew in every frat, including SAE and DKE, they might not be as common as they are in AEPI, ZBT, or even Pike, but they are definitely there. KA is known for having quite a few as well...</p>
<p>ZBT is a traditionally Jewish frat as is AEPi (not sure on the latter) so no surprise there.</p>
