Anti-Semitism at UCSC?

UCSC is one of son’s top choices, but read somewhere that anti-Semitism is high there. He feels strongly about his faith, and would like be a natural topic of discussion for him (not proselytizing but just talking about Jewish values or the like), but he doesn’t wear a yarmulke or anything outward.

Any anecdotal evidence?

I’ve visited the school while classes are in session multiple times, and while I’m not yet a student there, the campus and the people in it didn’t seem to show any prejudice towards any specific group of people.

As someone who grew up conservatively Jewish in the south, anti-semitism is everywhere. I’ve lived in LA for 2 years and it is very prevalent here as well.

Never heard anything about anti-semitism at UCSC. The only thing I’ve heard is that there is a dorm building where there is a larger population of Jewish students.
