Anxious and waiting NYU results

There's been some serious highjacking of the two "official" acceptance threads (No ones fault, lot's more of us HAVEN'T Heard than heard) SO I'm starting a thread where we can obsess our hearts out to one another and share what information we have:

Something (but not limited to) like this:

White/female/NJ
CAS
GPA 3.67 (UW) 4.27 (W)
SAT 1's 770 reading 550 math 720 writing
SAT II's US history 780 Literature 750
All honors, high honors or AP (5) APs
Took courses in my field at NYU over summer (A's)

ANy inside info: A girl in my school heard a couple days ago (I'm assuming GSP?) Hope the math score doesn't blow my chances. My passion is writing/History so my strongest scores/grades reflect that.

wow, u are like a opposite of me. I am good at Math and u are good at CR. We will make the perfect team!!! GL and see u in NYU (I believe u have a really good chance)

White/female/NY
Steinhardt for Music Ed
GPA 3.8 (UW) 4.0+ (W)
SATs: 1830 (ugh)
3 AP classes taken, Honors and other college credit classes taken as well.

I think my audition went really well, and my essay was really great, so I hope that makes up for my less than great SATs.

It seems INCREDIBLY competitive this year, so I'm beyond the point of freak-out. However, most of the stats I've seen thus far are attributable to NJ kids, and they had good stats but were GSPed. Am I right to think that an applicant from the Tri-State area faces tougher competition/chances?

Anyway, my chances are horribly bleak; I'm fixing to release this NYU dream.

GPA: A very, very bleak 3.15 (UW, school doesn't weight, would be much higher if weighted, however)
ACT: 31 (R30, M28, E32, S33, Essay 11)
APs: 3 Junior Year (Bio-4, Latin-3, EngLang-5), 3 this year
Hon: 5

Essays: College counselor told me that it was one of the best he'd ever read
Recs: Very good
Hook: Science & Writing-I've taken 8 science classes, done lots of research and won awards for that, yet my greatest strength is writing.

Good luck to everyone! Don't let this ruin your holiday season!
