Any 2 to 3 unit classes that don't require section???

<p>I need some help trying to balance my schedule. Does anyone have any experience taking some easy classes at berkeley that didnt have a hard workload and did not have a discussion section required???</p>

<p>There are many, many, many classes like this. Off the top of my head, some English classes, 5-unit language classes are all like this, 3-unit language classes for native speakers are like this...etc. etc. It depends on what you're interested in. Here's what you should do:</p>

<ol>
<li>Decide what subject you want to take.</li>
<li>Go to schedule.berkeley.edu and look up the department.</li>
<li>Search for lower-div classes and specify you only want 2 or 3 unit classes.</li>
<li>For the classes that sound interesting, click on the catalog link, which will have how many hours of lecture and discussion (if any) per week.</li>
