Any ACT best prep book and advises recommendation?

Hello everyone

I just decided to take DEC ACT and I am looking for advises. It looks like no one has written a introduction of ACT before so I am lost right now..

Is there any best prep book for ACT like Rocket Review for SAT?
And some advises??

Thanks!

Yes. I would DEFINITELY get the “Real ACT” (Red Book). It is from the makers of the ACT themselves, and includes five REAL ACT tests. You can find the link to it on the ACT’s website [ACT Test Prep : The Real ACT Prep Guide](<a href=“ACT Test Preparation | Test Prep Resources | ACT”>ACT Test Preparation | Test Prep Resources | ACT)

It also provides a lengthy (At least a paragraph) explanation of the answer to each question, as well as why other answer choices are incorrect. This is an invaluable study tool in my opinion, as it helps you understand what and why you got a question wrong.

Also, the ACT hands out a free packet every year. This packet contains a single practice test with answers (no explanations though) but I would recommend doing that too if you have the time.

@GamerAddict Thank you so much!!

I agree wholeheartedly with GamerAddict on the ACT Test Prep Book. I’d also suggest one of the Princeton Review prep books, like Cracking the ACT 2012. It’s a great book for studying because it gives you plenty of ways to attack the ACT.
