Any advice for a rising senior?

Hey everyone. Let me introduce myself... I'm from NY, and I've stumbled upon this site many times before. I've found that it was very helpful with test prep and such, but now that I'm going to be a senior this fall I feel that it would be best for me to make my own account. Anyway, I don't know if people who are already undergraduates still use this site, but if there are people out there who happen to go to Yale, (or know people that do) does anyone have any advice for me, regarding the application process, or essays? I visited the campus at the beginning of summer and fell in love with Yale... so I know I'm applying early action. Any advice would be appreciated, and thanks in advance!

Oh and is anyone out there also interested in applying SCEA? =)

Yale’s Early Action is single choice. meaning you can’t apply any where else early. It is also not an advantage unless you are a very very strong applicant. My son applied EA and got accepted but he had a very strong application. There were many strong students that didn’t get in EA.

Since you are a senoir, there isn’t much you can do except write really good essays. Good luck and make sure that you apply to other top schools, mid range and safeties.
