any advice on taking chem3a and physics 8a

I am planning on taking these two courses together next semester with a breadth requirement and major requirement course. Is it too much to take physics 8a and chem 3a together?

Have you taken a lab course before (e.g. Chemistry 1A, 1B, or 4A, Biology 1B)?

If so, can you handle the workload of two such courses together with two other courses?

Some other types of courses could involve more time than usual. Examples would be those which have large term projects, art studio, or computer programming assignments.

I’m currently taking Chem 3A and Physics 8A. It’s definitely doable as long as you stay on top of your work. Maybe try to choose two classes with a lighter workload so you don’t get too overwhelmed. I’m taking an English class and a breadth requirement as well and I’m doing fine so far.

@Bookworm456,
What year of undergrad are you in? Are you a pre-med?

yeah, I was thinking of taking a social science and breadth requirement, which aren’t too much of a workload, it seems, along with chem 3a and physics 8a. How stressful has it been? are there any recommendations that you have?
