Any advice? Please??

Hey guys. I want to go into International Law after college. However, I don't know which college will help me get into a nice Law school. I'm already in the process of applying to Colby and Bowdoin...they're nice, but they are also on the expensive side. My dad suggested West Point or the Naval Academy, either of which he could get me into (he is a captain in the army and has some connections), but I've heard Law schools prefer liberal arts colleges. If anyone could give me any more names/advice that'd be totally awesome. Thanks.

Your dad would have to have some super-mega-ultra-super-dooper connection to get you into West Point, let alone the Navy. Both are insanely hard to get into. No reason you shouldnt if you can get in.

Claremont McKenna

Something else to think about with the academies. You will have a 5-6 year commitment after school in the military. If you want to go to law school while in the military (be a JAG) you will have some very tough competition at school. If you don't get selected then, you'll have to wait until after the commitment and you're that much further in the future before getting to the bar. You can't beat the education at the academies, though.
