DD2 is applying to Fine Arts Major (GD for now) to start in Fall '24.
So far she has done two colleges in home state: UNT CVAD, which is very close to home will be the most affordable for us. Also UT Austin Design school - instate but they give zero scholarship. She got auto admission based on her class rank but waiting for decision on the major for UT.
Other schools in mind are Pratt/Munson, MICA, RISD (Still not sure as she got a very diff. vibe than she was expecting on the NPD, esp in comparison to other schools she went to. Enthusiasm was lacking and she just did not feel she could connect to the frequency, but it could be just that one person).
Also Parsons, RIT, SCAD etc in list but probably “no” for her based on location, expense etc.

GPA: 4.68 (based on 4)
1380 SAT, did not want to take the second time.
What will be a major deciding factor is the scholarship amount she gets and how we can afford. We probably will get nothing out of FAFSA 
(did not for DD1).
We have not visited any schools unfortunately so I am waiting to hear more!
