Any applicants know the ACTUAL SAT/ACT score report deadline?

On collegeboard.com, it says that the official standardized test score deadline is January 15th, but on the U.S. News and World Report's Best Colleges website and one other website that I cannot recall the name of says the deadline is February 1st. I'm not sure if College Board did not update the deadline after the Early Action deadline was removed, but if someone has spoken to an admissions counselor and knows what the actual deadline is, it would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know.

Well, the deadline to apply this year is Jan 15th so I would assume that would be the deadline for SAT scores. You could always contact the admissions office and see if they will accept scores after that date.

It’s really easy to send your scores in to the schools. I don’t if you’ve sent them yet, but it generally only takes a few minutes. The pain is that College Board has to mail copies to the schools, which takes up to another two weeks. You should definitely call the admissions office about this, but as long as you send them out soon, you should be okay. I had a similar problem where I had trouble reaching my guidance counselor during Christmas break to send out recommendations for January first deadlines. They were sent after the deadline, but my application still went through. From the colleges that replied to my emails, they mostly said they only need what you submit yourself via Common App by January 15th, and most other records can be sent within a week or two afterwards.

They might try to give you a difficult time with this, but the most they can really claim is that “Your application will delayed until all forms are submitted, and we cannot guarantee that we will have time to cover your application.” Don’t worry about it though, the only deadlines that are actually enforced are for personal materials (essay, etc.) that you can do yourself on Common App.
