Do SAT score reports have to arrive by the deadline stated on college websites? I'll have my scores on the common app... can the colleges verify that I actually got these scores later? Or do I need to do some rush sending action?

Tricky question. CB site states it'll send their scores 3 weeks or so after they receive the request, under the normal action, right?

I'm by no means an admissions officer and I suspect the answer to this is up to the individual colleges. If a school states its deadline as "postmark", you'll probably given a week or so of breathing time?

I ordered an additional SAT score for a December 1st deadline November 28th and it was alright with the school.

Check with the schools you are interested in applying to. They will tell you on the latest scores they will take. Soe will soy december others say january scores. The process varies by school. In addtion, some schools do not take rush scores because they are paper copies of the SAT. So check the college's policy on this also
