any chance into MIT, Princeton, UPENN, Stanford,Columbia?

I'm no.1 in my class out of 650
my unweighted GPA is 4.0, so all A's throughout high school
gender: female
ethnicity:asian/chinese
i've taken 8 APs during my sophomore and junior year
AP world, AP calc AB/BC, AP chemistry, AP Bio, AP government, AP psych, AP English Comp

I got all 5s for the 4 i took last year and i think all 5s for the 4APs i took this year, results are not in yet until the summer.

SATII score:
800 math
800 chinese
760 biology
I just took chemistry in may, i think i got around 780...

Taking my SAT I in june, my psat was 2250.

ECs/activities

Basketball varsity (JV captain)
Golf Varsity Captain (we won district championship this year)
Vice president for math club and asian club
founder and president of women club
Piano Advanced examination (Nat'L music federation) Superior rating
member of mu alpha theta, national honor society, science national honor society
Hugh O'brian leadership seminar alumna

Awards:
Qualified for the national merit semifinalist by cut off score
AP national scholar

Kodak young leaders award

I'm going to the M&TSI wharton & Penn Engineering summer camp

I think i'm going to have awesome teacher recommendations since both teachers gave me the school department award for the two subjects, calculus and English.

So any chance? my early action is MIT...

i want to apply to UPENN, Harvard, Stanford, Columbia for regular decision

mmm academics looks great...

ec's above average, but no hook...

i'd say reach for all except columbia, upenn.

I would say good job, but they're all reaches except upenn.

Maybe I'm being harsh, but it seems as if you fit the mold for the typical Asian, except for like golf.

MIT EA: Reach (not enough science/engineering ECs)
UPenn: Slight reach
Harvard: Reach
Stanford; Reach
Columbia: Slight reach

Basketball breaks the Asian mold as well. Apply EA to MIT like you said you were going to do. A lot of people say applying EA to MIT is kind of pointless since the acceptance rate is like 13%, BUT if you don't get in, you can hound them and add to your application folder if that's where you really want to go. Although that 13% looks like a small number. The number of deferred applicants that get into MIT RD is around the regular number of 13% as well. So if you add up both rounds, you find that acceptance rate for EA applicants to be a little higher than RD (maybe 18%ish)

I don't know if i should put i was the class president in my freshman year? but i got bored doing just fundraisers everyday so I decided not to run.

I do have an internship at the engineering lab at a local college.
Yeah, I'm going to apply early for MIT. I do hope I can make it.
Thanks for the constructive criticisms.

I think it all goes down to luck. My friend got accepted to Stanford Pre-med this year but her SAT I didn't break 1450, and she had the same typical asian leadership roles such as in national honor society and math club and no sports.

Good luck! I think you deserve it.

Highly qualified, and smart enough to know the odds. You might want to throw an app at Rice. Not really a safety, but close enough with your stats.

Which state do you love in?

I think Penn and Columbia are reaches for EVERYONE. I have no doubt about that. Especially if you apply to Wharton, and Columbia COLLEGE.

that's not true. There are smart enough people who consider Clumbia and Penn safeties because they can get into Harvard and MIT.
