THANKS A LOT!!!!!!!!! PLEASE BE HONEST!!!!!!

How do you know if you're a national merit finalist already? I thought that was based on your junior PSAT scores and they didn't tell you until September of senior year if you're a semi-finalist?

I'm also curious about the AP scholar thing. Did you take a lot your sophomore year or something? (I'm not questioning your credibility, I'm seriously curious)

I'd say it looks good, though.

looks like a very good chance in my view....ED will def help you but I hope you can afford it without any financial aid cause they'r usually skimpy with international students when it comes to fin. aid.

schmivy, well i'll be honest with you, no I haven't gotten back my result but I got a 237 on the PSAT and my counselor told me that based on previous scores in michigan i'm easily a finalist and everyone who i've asked said so too so i assumed that unless something seriously weird happens, i'll be a finalist although i can't become a scholar because of no us citizenry or permanent residence.

about the scholar thing, i self studied two AP tests freshman year and got two 4's and sophomore year I took 2 AP's in school and self-studied one to get two 4's and one 5.

(don't worry about being curious, smart thing that you picked it up!!! :D)

thanks for the help so far guys!!! i appreciate it!!!

nothing's a given, but you look great and i'd say you have a very solid shot at getting in. if you like the columbia/new york vibe, then certainly apply early.

Hispanic? ED? = in.
