Hello,

I was wondering if a student who was rejected could appeal the decision. How would they go about doing this?
Thanks.

Um...no, you will not be able to appeal your decision.

why not? I thought you would do that for other colleges as well.

well think about it.

you are arguing against admission in admitting you....so now what do they do? relook over your application? if you were an admission officer and you are looking over an applicant who is appealing against their own initial judgment....wouldn't you feel slightly insulted?

now would you admit him/her?

Harvard has reviewed exactly two appeals in the last twenty years. Both were still denied.
