Physics- If you’re a girl and you wear a skirt, you’ll get an A. The teacher is a creep and everyone at school knows it. We wear uniforms, so lots of people wear skirts everyday = easy A with minimal work. Plus, he just gives huge amounts of extra credit for nothing. I got 260/200 on a project, and I don’t know how. Total joke of a class.

Computer Applications- it’s stuff you should already know once you’re in high school.

Math Applications- they’re supposed to do math-related projects, which are a bunch of kindergarten level project and worthless stuff.

American Lit- They’ve been known to have textbooks out during the test and the teacher didn’t notice. I took the Honors class, and there we did stuff.

World History- someone else teaches it now, but my teacher was lazy and never lectured about the topic.

Sociology- same as my World History teacher, they do nothing in class.

US History- same as World History teacher. He does nothing in class- take AP and then you learn stuff.

AP US Gov- It was a joke when I took it- same teacher as when I had World History and current US History & Sociology teacher, he did nothing related to the class. Now they learn stuff- got a different teacher.

Most of the classes in my school in India are joke, they just tell you (most of the times) to note down the main points which might come in the exams, and the teaching quality is poor as well. Once asked a logical question, which was very easily shrugged off by my teacher, “It’s a fact, scientists do this stuff, just know it as it.”

Love my English class, though.

All the courses outside the Comp Sci department are jokes in my opinion.

I’d have to say the biggest joke is the obligatory “health class.” I’m sure you all know what I mean. That’s about 40 class periods of absolutely wasted time I will never get back.

And APs are a joke. US is my naptime and English Lit is our party class. Nothing ever gets accomplished, and yet I am very confident I got a 5 on both.

My history teacher has barely taught a class. She gives us work and notes and expects us to read the book while she sits on her computer all day.

In my Latin class, we literally just translate straight out of the book, go over it the next day, and take a 10 question vocab quiz (true and false) on Friday. It’s so easy! I did the entire book halfway through the year and am already started on the one for next year

Creative Writing is an absolute joke. The AMAZING teacher from last year decided to retire because she wanted to spend time writing her novel. So we got stuck with a teacher who majored in PAINTING and the first day say “Hi , i have never taught a writing class, nor have i written anything creative in my life, but we’ll see how this goes and play it by ear” ***. Exact words. After a semester of her BS the class doesn’t respect her. The movies we watch are either philosophical (waiting for godot made me want to kill myself) or in another language. So far i’ve watched movies in Italian, German, and Chinese (?) -____- Three more days of her class.

Econ - my teacher doesn’t understand it.

Calc BC- my teacher is a Number Theory major from UCB and he never really had strong experience with BC.

American Sign Language - the teacher doesn’t do anything.

Computer Repair - no one does anything

AP Human Geo - such a useless class at my school. Now it has been cancelled.

AP Lit - People don’t read the books

Public school in general is a joke

lol
AP Environmental Science is a joke - but it’s because my teacher doesn’t feel like teaching half the time.

On the other hand, AP Lang is really hard at my school. All the tests are 100% obscure quotes from the book, and teh teacher grades extremely hard on class discussions / timed writings.

my AP geometry class, i literally guessed every answer on a paper and still got an A, but ive had an A on every test in there, she actually checks those so i guess im doing good haha :D
