I am a freshman in Letters & Science college majored in Mathematics -Economics. I have chosed to take Math32A one GE enthnomusicology 30A(europe and america) one GE cluster M1A global environment. My 32A is taught by Micheli.M? Any one know this teacher I think he is a new teacher. And how are my chosed two GE classes? I heard of global environment has a lot of writing. Is that true? Are these two GE classes have lots of writings. As I could not take writing classes in the first quarter, does this influence my writings in GE ? Thanks for anyone's help.

Any body give me some help???

Don’t take a GE cluster unless you’re interested in the subject! GE cluster is a year long commitment. If you’re so afraid of writing a lot, I would recommend a science GE course instead.

I have satisfied my GE physical science requirement and I am really interested in Global Environment. I am just worried about the writing. If I do not take a writing class this semester can I still get a good score in my global environment paper? I just want to know whether the writing class matters. Thanks for your help~~~

How about a Life Sci GE?

According to this website:
[UCLA Freshman Clusters](http://www.college.ucla.edu/ge/clusters/writing2.html)
Eng Comp 3 (writing 1) can be completed any time during your freshman year i.e. fall 2010, winter 2011, or spring 2011

If you are so concerned with your writing, you could probably seek help from your professor or T.A. during office hours.

Are you in the Academic Advancement Program (AAP)? If not, you could apply. If yes, you could get help with your writing through the Writing Lab.
[AAP Peer Learning Workshops - Course Offerings](http://www.aap.ucla.edu/peer_learning/courses.html)

If you aren’t in AAP, there is also the Covel Composition/ESL Peer Learning Lab.

All of the life science GE classes that I am interested in are full. Really thanks your help~~~~
