Any "cool" and "exciting" majors out there?

are there any majors out there that are exciting. i dont want the old business degree or law degree. i want something new

ex: sports management, golf management........any others??

Arts Management

ECONOMICS

hey, its exciting to me.

my buddy going to PSU is doing golf management

Electrical Engineering!

Retirement Home Management

dont you need like a 3 over par to get into some golf management programs? what does your friend plan o ndoing w/ his golf management degree?

run a golf course i guess

he's an ok golfer

Cornell has hotel management.
Forensics could be interesting...

That's because law and business degrees aren't interesting...they teach you how to do jobs. Real majors are real interesting....english, philosophy, geology, psychology, linguistics, comparative lit, straight up foreign languages, european history...I could go on and on.

But there are some really cool sounding ones. One that always sounded cool was architctural engineering.

Geography. . .believe it!

Medieval studies sounds fun.

I told my mom I wanted to major in that. Her reaction was priceless.

pimpology lol

I would love Medieval Studies, but I have no clue when I would ever actually use that knowledge. ... Well, actually, yes I do, but not to the point where I'd be willing to pay $100,000 to acquire the knowledge. :D

I like these:

Biological Systems Engineering
Nature and Culture
Residential Building Science and Technology
Petroleum Engineering
Urban Studies
Biological Bases of Behavior
Air Pollution Meterology
Peace & Conflict Studies (alas, a minor!)
Euphonium (a music major -- so specific!)
Dairy Science (yay agriculture studies!)
Poultry Science
Environment, Textiles and Design
Real Estate and Urban Land Economics
Risk Management and Insurance
Retailing

... I could go on. Most of those amuse me because I find it hard to believe that many people take them, and because I'm a suburban/urban girl and agriculture studies make me giggle. :P

digging..............

Military Science

If you want to "live life on the edge," be the only guy in a women's studies class. That'll keep you on your chauvanistic, patriarchical toes, you swine.

Public Health .. sounds boring.. but very interesting

That'd be awesome.

Grad school is where the cool things pop up. (Example: in computer science, grad schools branch into AI, Virtual Reality, Computer Vision, etc.
Take a core major in something serious and then go to grad school.

philosophy?
