You need to make certain that the program is at a university that is regionally accredited and not-for-profit. Chances are that your own home state public universities have some fully on-line options. If not, check out University of Maryland University College, and Penn State World Campus.
Online classes demand much more independence from the students. You will need to be very well organized and stay on top of all of your various assignments.
