Any Extra tips for AP Testing/studying

I am taking the AP World History and AP English Language test in approximately 2 weeks (May 13 and 14th)

Aside from studying and reviewing my a** off for the past month and a half , do any of you fellow CC members have any general advice that could help out ? Thanks in advance !

Well if this is what you were thinking of: I generally find it extremely helpful to do practice APs a few days ahead of exams, and spend the last remaining days putting a special focus on what I answered wrong. One thing that helps me study is to have a kind of “half-time break” which I can use for sport so that my mind is focused when I resume studying. Also, don’t study too late the night before (this tends not to help much anyway), and pack your bag the night before (I only recently started doing this and the difference is huge!). On the morning of the exam, don’t do any extensive review. Maybe look through flashcards if you made any. Most importantly: do whatever you can to make sure you are as confident as possible when you enter the exam (so don’t spend the morning panicking about things you don’t know!).

Hope that’s kinda what you were looking for! If not, hope it helped anyway!

I took APWH last year and I am taking AP English this year. For any AP history course, I recommend creating a timeline. Although the AP doesn’t ask about specific dates, knowing where and when something happened can really help on all three essays (especially change over time and compare and contrast). Also, noting which questions you are getting wrong and reviewing those questions in the days leading up to the test can help.

AP English is a more skills-based exam. For this test, review literary terms for the rhetorical analysis essay. Also, practicing essays and getting feedback on them from teachers can be super helpful. For AP English, studying more will not necessarily raise your score-- making sure you can think on your feet well can ensure a 4/5.

My advices r simple… rest and relax. If you have study properly then everything should be fine…

Just go over and study your notes a week or two before. My AP WH class is doing a practice AP test the three days before the exam.
