I'm thinking in my head what would happen if I was rejected from the econ major at UCSD. I have UCR Biz Admin program as a back up, but I don't see myself traveling all the way to UCR to do biz administration. I was wondering if there were some past CC'er or even some current ones who this happened to. What did you do? Did you decided to still go to UCSD and pursue the major or take your second option? Also what is stipulations for undeclared students at UCSD, do they have to retake the classes again and apply to the major program??

What is your GPA if you don’t mind me asking.

currently it’s a 3.6, but im estimating it will go up to 3.75 by the time im done.

BumPPPP!!!

You don’t have to worry about getting in as undeclared unless you’re applying to an impacted major. If you apply to an impacted major, make sure you have a non-impacted major as your second choice major or will be placed into undeclared if your stats are good enough to admit you into the school, which it sounds like they are.
