any former/current texas state students?

<p>I plan on going to txst in San Marcos in the fall, anything I can expect? any tips? Also, I wanna know is it possible to have no fridays and no 8 A.M. classes? Also, what hall should I reside in to maybe be close to my classes? If it helps a little, I plan to be a English major. thanks :)</p>
