<p>Okay, i had a family situation this year, and I was totally not able to make it back for Rush week. Actually, I wasn't even able to get back to Ithaca for the first 3 days of class either.</p>
<p>So next year I'll be a junior. Are there any frats who would take a junior rushee? I'm talking about the top-tier to medium-tier frats. If I visited them next Fall, and it seemed to them I would make a good fit, would they still reject me cause I'm a junior?</p>
<p>it's possible, but it can't hurt to try. My friend's fraternity took a senior last year.</p>

<p>No upper or decent middle-tier house will take you UNLESS you have specific strong ties to brothers in the house. Also most better houses do not do fall rush. You can still join a worse house like lamdba chi or DKE those guys take pretty much anyone, but I think that might make your social life worse than if you joined nowhere.</p>
