<p>I just bought Microsoft Office 2010. Before I open it, can someone tell me if we get a free copy for attending, or will I need my own?</p>

<p>I am not sure about free software but students can purchase software at sometimes greatly reduced prices. You should check out the WebStore on UIUC’s site.</p>
<p>Well you can get reduced software. If you are in engineering I know it is possible to get free Windows 7 even. Office 2010 is $65 for me (I just checked) and I’m in the College of Business.</p>
