Any Global Issues Seminar "Graduates"?

I will be attending the week-long Global Issues seminar next month (part of the Pre-College programs) and then applying to colleges in the fall. Will this affect my chances when applying to colleges in the fall, at Notre Dame and elsewhere? Anyone familiar with others who've attended this seminar? All input is appreciated. Thanks.

I didn’t go to that one but I went to the African American Scholars one and everyone that went got accepted. However a bunch are going to Stanford and other schools…

But two other kids in my high school went to the Global Issues one and they both got accepted also… They LOVEDDD it!

ah GIS…I was a GISer last summer, and actually will be a freshman at ND this fall (never dreamed of applying to ND before my week there though). I would say that being selected to attend this program definitely means that you have an amazing chance of getting in, but it won’t be the main factor. GIS is one of the most selective pre-college programs that ND offers and from what I’ve heard of my year and previous years, it’s really REALLY rare for someone who’s been in global issues and applied to ND not to be accepted.

Have a lot of fun with your week on campus, Rashied and George are amazing (despite that they show you the movie Mohammed: Legacy of a Prophet)

What other the Pre-College programs at Notre Dame? How will they affect admission to Notre Dame?
