So how are all the seniors doing? Bored? Just wanna get out of high school and go to college? Nervous about college decisions coming up?

For me, senior year right now is just plain BORING. There's no excitement, no anxiousness, no big stories to tell...oh wait...I actually have one.

So in the past few days, there's been a rape case of a student at my high school. Apparently he was 18 and the girl was a minor. It's pretty controversial because he had already received a scholarship to a college, and there's been stories that the girl initiated the sexual encounter. So the police are postponing rape charges. Besides that, there was also a news article online about this incident. On the "comments" section, there were some people who posted under different usernames, pretending to be other students at the high school. One comment even said "Hello, this is XX. Tomjonesistheman posted all the fake comments." So when I found out a friend of mine posted that out of sheer boredom, (you would expect me to get pretty mad), I was just like whatever. It's just kinda lame because many parents read this specific news site, and knowing parents, don't even know that you can choose whatever username you want when you post a comment.

So...I know that was kind of a lame story, but it goes to show how boring my life is right now. Anyone else have any exciting stories to share?

“nothing at all.
miserable HS life.
thought senior was gonna get better, but i haven’t been happy yet mostly.”

Um, yeah. That’s my current high school life in a nutshell. Senior year is so overrated… at least during this time it is. Maybe come April or May when everyone knows where they’re going to college and no one cares about school anymore things will get more interesting. But not right now.

Why would you do that? A lot of colleges have capped amounts of AP credit you can have going into college. Some colleges don’t even accept them.

Like I said, I chose to do them for fun, not for college. I enjoy the majority of them, but I find several of them boring (microecon, comp. gov, etc.). But the colleges I applied to do accept all 11 of the ones I’m taking so that’s also a plus. As a friendly tip: If you want to do 5+ APs merely for colleges’ sake, you won’t go very far.
