Any guesses of my score?

Math- Omit 2, Miss 1
Reading- Miss 5
Writing- Miss 1, 4ish essay...

hyper...which one did u miss on writing...

also...what did u put for the gardners question (if u had it...)

I can't remember in writing...some funny worded question I was rushing to finish the section...so sorry can't remember...

do not remember any gardners...sorry...

bump ppl plz some estimates...

Bring
Up
My
Post

Math: 770
CR: 780
WR: 650ish

(Just throwing out random numbers...I'll check back in 3 weeks to see how close I was :p)

No
One
Cares

Wait, did you mean 4/12 or 4/6 (i.e., 8/12) for your essay? I counted the former...if the latter, then make that 770ish as well...

8-9/12 on essay

"Reading- Miss 5" = "CR: 780" ?!

I missed 10 on the March SATI, and got a 670. I say 5misses on CR = low 700's.

Using the scale for the collegeboard.com practice test you would get:

Math - 740
CR - 730
Writing - 800

Your scores will probably be plus or minus a few 10s

740 only missing 1 and ommitting two?

Yeah, math's curve is brutal. I missed 2grid-ins, and 1mult. choice, got a 740. Normally the raw score curve is:
800 - 0 wrong
780
760
740
720
700
etc...

I got 6 wrong in math and got a 690. 740-760 sounds about right.

I hope for more lenient CR and Math curve....it seemed a lot tougher than the March test...and much tougher (for me) than the Collegeboard practice test....

the CR for mine was brutal, but i sucked last time so i cant do much worse.

what if someone got:

Math: 2 miss
CR : 4 miss
Writing: 2 miss

what do you think that comes out to be? im still iffy on that whole curving deal

chachaxia...

Math: 760
CR: 750
Writing: 800 if 12 essay

Math- Omit 2, miss 1
Reading- Omit none, miss 5
Writing- I probably got 740-800....

Of course, the thing is, the curve is based on the performance of the people who take it, so if one year, there is sudden enlightenment and everyone gets everything right on a subtest except for one person who misses one, that person ends up with a 200 :p

My post was based on what I could remember from the old SAT I...the curve may be different now, but that's only because they're finally rebalancing to compensate for SAT prep classes that were slowly dragging the average up...

Stupid SAT prep classes messing with the averages...sorry I am desperate for a lenient curve....
