Any guesses of my score?

Reading, miss 5 = 730? That's harsh...back when I took it, verbal, miss 2 = 800 :D I was ecstatic...(and no prep classes for me  )

could someone post the possible cr curve from the cb website if they have it. i think i missed 3

Does anybody have the link to the March SAT curve? I've seen the link for it a few times.

And if that wasn't necessarily the March curve, it was certainly close, and it was definitely a New SAT curve (on the CB website).

bump this up

I don't have the exact curve, but it is something like this...

Math:
54 - 800
53 - 790
52 - 760
51 - 740
50 - 720
49 - 710
48 - 700

Reading:
67 - 800
66 - 800
65 - 800
64 - 790
63 - 770
62 - 750
61 - 730
60 - 720
59 - 710
58 - 700

wait, if the reading is curved that way, if you get two wrong wouldnt it still be 800?

65-0.5 = 64.5 = 65 = 800 ?

yeah, it would still be an 800

what would my score be
CR--3
M--2
Wr--0
12 on essay
Im thinking:
CR-770
M-750
Wr-800
Total 2320

yeah psh, stambliark told me a 750 ;)

I have a copy of the new SAT scoring chart. I know they used this exact chart for the March SAT. If what u say you missed holds true, Hyper2400, you're looking at:

Math: 740
CR: 730
Writing: 740*

*(I assume you meant a score of a 4 by the two readers; an essay score of 8)

Actually, SAT prep classes don't have much of an effect on performance.

http://search.collegeboard.com/research/pdf/rr9806_3911.pdf

Ah, if the admin. allowed attachments I could attach the official pdf of the raw score conversion chart for the new SAT.

Oh well, just ask if u want info.

JUNE RESULT:
READING, -5 omit 0: 730 antimorph right on the mark!
Math, Omit 1, Miss 3: 710
Writing: 12 Essay (Whaaa.....shocked), missed i dont remember- 780

gotta retake for that math and reading can go up a little too with avid reading over this summer...

I have an official scoring grid from the field testing of the new SAT. So far the gride has corresponded perfectly to my score on all sections of the new SAT for the two times I took the test.
