<p>I'm in Sutherland and would prefer to live on lower campus; Towers, Forbes, or Lothrop. My roommates are cool, but most of my friends are on lower campus and most of my classes are later at night.</p>

<p>Did you ask your RA about switching – if so what did he/she say? Have heard that room changes will be almost impossible unless there is a very important reason due to the over enrollment of freshmen (some are living in the lounges at Towers & Lothrop) and Pitt is trying to move them out of the lounges and into dorm rooms.</p>
<p>If you have roommate troubles, report it to your RA and if it cannot be resolved, they can sometimes transfer you to either a single room or give you a different roommate. I am not sure if they will move you for convenience</p>
<p>If any of your friends on lower campus have roommate problems and they end up with an opening somehow, that might be an option.</p>
<p>No I don’t have roommate troubles. Just want to be closer to my friends in Towers.</p>
<p>Hopefully if someone does want to switch, Pitt can make it happen.</p>
