Any Hope?

<p>I have a 3.1 gpa, and a 21 on my act. (I can't take standerdized tests to save my life). But my EC (LOTS of them, and hold leadership in a majorty, also interned for 2 professional teams in my city) and essay, interview, and reccomendations go above and beyond. Well not so sure about my interview but the other 3 do. So do I have any chance at Duke? And would it be better for me to apply ED because of the higher admissions chance, or should I go RD to try and raise my GPA and test scores. Or would it be better for me transfer after 1 year?</p>

<p>And I know that my academics are below average so please dont reply saying... "well your test scores and gpa are way below average for Duke" because that is just annoying, so dont waste your time.</p>

<p>If you had a 3.6 and a 31 I’d say you have only a slight chance; a 3.1 and a 21 is probably out of the question, regardless of your ECs, recs, and essays.</p>
