I agree bumpitybump--instructions come out today!!! Wow, I think I have become a total loser who is excited by anything Stanford.

jassi, i definitely wouldn't say that makes you a loser, but I may be biased because I completely agree--I'll take any cause for hope I can find. So at least you're in good company...

good luck, everyone.

Don't worry, I'm a bigger loser; I'm sure my friends are so annoyed just hearing about how many days are left from me. Anyone got the instructions yet, because I have not.

Hehe, it feels good to know I am in such a loser company-haha. I haven't gotten instructions yet, and I have checked about 50 times, literally.

I hold the world's record for requesting mail from my mail server.

I have not received the email too. Anyone have got one? Thanks

I am very close to calling Stanford, but don't want to loose the minutes on long distance. But forget that--I am calling Stanford right now.

It's just the instructions, don't be so nervous. Everything will be on time and we will all be duly rejected on Friday at 3pm Pacific time.

It came! ***

It's in~ *

I am not sure what is wrong, but I haven't receieved the e-mail instructions. This sucks.

Did you apply online? If so, it's just telling you to go to the place you filled out your online application. There's nothing else in there, really.

Thanks Hiroki. I think I know how to create the ID, but it is really weird that I didn't get anything.

Stanford University

Yeah, Stanford! Its the last school I am waiting for. But, I must confess, I am going to haas at berkeley next year. Already got a lock on a room in berkely. So, if I get in at Stanford, I'll be turning it down. (Not that I'll get in) But, it won't be with such a heavy heart, because I'll be there for my MBA and I didn't wanna study economics as much as business anyway. Its too bad that stanford doesn't have an undergrad business degree. Oh well, the wait is on. Best of luck to everyone.

thanks aji- I don't expect to get in as I'm international and I asked for aid- which drives my prospects down to about 2%? Sad, if I get in I'll honestly think I got the e-mail in error-

aji1234: You can fax Stanford to pull your application so we all get a better chance XD

It's probably too late.

I hope that they give me a chance to follow my interest in their Sociology Program. Unlike my current school, Stanford doesn't restrict my academic opportunities to expand into other areas of study that would make learning fun. If I don't get in, I'll look into the other options that I have left, and make the most of it.

Hiroki--Thank you so much for posting that up. I guess my college e-mail system is going crazy, and that's why the e-mail didn't get through (I hope). Thanks again so much. I did apply online so I do have a pin.
