Any international get into Chicago with Aid?

This is from Chicago's website

"In our admissions process, we must be “need-aware” for international candidates. This means that when reviewing international applications, Chicago takes into account whether or not an applicant has requested financial assistance. Applying for financial aid places you in an extremely competitive applicant pool. We therefore advise you to apply for financial aid only if you do not have the resources to fund your education."

So did any international get into Chicago after applying for financial aid?

I'm an asian international FA applicant that got rejected.

I got a friend from my school who got a full tuition scholarship.

No, I was rejected outright. I think at least some of it had to do with fin. aid.

I was waitlisted even though I had asked for very little aid.

Yep, my class fellow got into Chicago with FULL aid. He is part of the national debating team and whatnot
