WHah! i'm in Guangzhou...(americ. citizen)

did you get an email? I have gotten zip.

congrats ath! where are you from? I still have nothing!!! also, which company courriered the package?

hey i haven't received / heard anything from NYU too.. (okay, also from HK)
there are two others applying from my school - but nothing still as well.

Jacey, have you received anything yet?
this waiting process is a bit annoying... why don't they email us???

i haven't gotten anything either...but i think some people in the US have heard from Stern.

i got mine through UPS, dey sent it right to my doorstep. I'd expect you guys to get it from UPS as well. No, dey will NOT send out emails.

I am from Singapore, by the way. any other singaporeans here? Are any of you considering taking a loan to go to NYU? Coz it's preetty expensive and I'm thinking about loan options. Do you guys think it's worth it? anyway wish you guys all the best of luck, and do update me!

Ya I got a package from UPS yesterday morning. I am in the Middle Easy.

that's strange. I just called and the guy that answered the phone told me that things were sent off by regular mail. *****...does this mean yet another rejection?

me too i still haven't received anything yet.
it's already APRIL 5th! i suppose this means a rejection but oh well.
but pls, do post it up here when any intl / hk ppl receive an acceptance from nyu, esp from stern. then i won't be worrying about it so much.

Here (in Taiwan) it's April 5 already and no mail yet (though I don't really fit in this thread...applied to Tisch-film...doesn't matter, we're all international). I called and the person said mails were sent last week and "it's perfectly normal" and basically please keep waiting. He also said both email and mail would be sent. I said I didn't get any email since the "we received your app" notice around Feb. He said probably it hasn't been "issued yet" (what??). But then in NYU international forum (official) the admin said acceptance is not sent by email. Another student in my HS already got accepted to NYU mid March, so I'm really panicking.

I'm not international, but I'm an exchange student studying in the Czech Republic. My acceptance packet got here on Thursday and was postmarked 28 March, but maybe they sent all the domestic applicants' first, even if they were out of the country??

I am US citizen (and have no other country's citizenship, so I'm technically a "temporary" foreigner staying in Taiwan). But I'm not in Taiwan through exchange or any special program.

Just a thought, I'd really like to know what do ppl who got accepted see in their NYU account (congrats note, invitation, housing, class, schedule, financial, etc.). I can access mine w/ 100mb email and all, but I see no sure clue whether I'm in or not, so if I compare the difference maybe that'll help many ppl know their acceptance beforehand.

GopherCG, if you can log in, I think it means you're in. I'm officially in, and I only have two emails--one "Welcome to NYU Home" and another about maintenance. I can't get to my financial aid info, either. I'm pretty sure people who can log in are accepted.

thanks hezkakocka, hopefully you're right. There's another thread that talked about account meaning acceptance but they didn't come to a sure conclusion (true some ppl could logon some couldnt, but some transfer students have accounts too but the transfer decision process has just begun recently). I can't quite believe i'm in yet since tisch (or only film?) i've heard has 11% acceptance rate.

no mail here...wednesday april 6th

hmm i called the NYU ppl as well last monday and they told me to call back friday
i'm really frustrated b/c i don't think i ever got an NYU student ID 0.o
but i got emails from admissions officers when i was having problems (had illness caused blank in grades and had to update transcript) and no number was given then.
i think the ppl in stern will say something when they're busy just to get you off the phone :-p
best of wishes!
i'm so nervous!

You are all talking about being able to log in. Could someone tell me the link where i can do this? i have my id numbers passwords and what not however, i don't have the link.
