Any international student (living abroad) got his/her UChicago acceptance package?

Seems no one got it or any other method of notification, ie e-mail.

yeah... dunno why...
where are you at ?

In Asia.

Does UChicago choose to send them via DHL?

same here...

not too sure.

I just find a perfect way to detect whether you got admitted.

First, confirm the method they choose to send, DHL or Fedex or UPS..?
Then, telephone the local service line of DHL/Fed.. Tell them I need to track a letter from UChicago. Provide your address and UChicago address.
Finally, if there is one, you got it.
If not, ....

so have you tried it ?

i tried doing that...but you need the airway bill number or something...mebbe it will get here today. I went on the site and I put in the 31st as the day that the package is sent off...it says it should be here either yesterday or today.

Just tell them the zip code 60637, it's enough, adding that's UChicago.

I'm not sure which service they use.

so....any luck ?

Tried DHL, no news.
Abandon to try others.

i tried DHL...only 1 package came out of uchicago and it wasn't to a private address.

Who will try Fedex? ( I think American univs only use these two, Fedex or Dhl)

I do not have the courage.

nope...i think NYU uses UPS

Anyone got one?

Nothing so far!

Bump!

Seems Fedex, confirmed by the one who got into UChicago two years ago.

Bump Again!

why do people bump?

Maybe something will come through today. I sent an email to Alison Segal, asking if acceptances are couriered, if rejections are sent by regular mail, and if there is an email notification that's sent off for rejections. She probably won't reply till tonight though (at the earliest).

If you hear from her, please let us know.
