any INTERNATIONAL students in here?

I have some questions in regards to an international student thinking about studying in the US.

What is the general admissions process like?

What is taken into consideration? Do they care about my SAT and grades in Australia?

Do I need to take the SAT and SAT IIs?

Thanks

4.most colleges dont give much (if at all) $$$. unless of course you are very smart and get the merit scholarships

go to internatioal students forum. There you will find everything that you need to know

if you're not a resident/citizen, admission becomes much much more difficult, especially at top 20 schools and schools in big cities.

i live in the US but had to apply international, and even some of my safeties (where the average SAT score was 200pts below mine) rejected me.

davidn08, IMHO, almost everything is a crapshot when applying as an international REQUESTING FinAid. That's mainly because there is intense competition for every spot being offered, be it at Harvard, Princeton, Kalamazoo or Sarah-Lawrence.
If you don't need FinAid, then I think the picture becomes much rosier.

Not so necessarily, bogororo. Harvard and Princeton, at least, are needs-blind for international students, and will meet 100% of demonstrated financial need, just as they do for American students.
