[Conservation Internships | The SCA - Student Conservation Association](http://www.thesca.org/serve/internships)

Student Conservation Association. I’ve heard great reviews from past interns, and they have lots of different options.

thanks. is it legit

long time since i post. Can anyone confirm if this website for internship is official?
Is it safe to register and search?

thank you in advance

I’d like to know this as well. How exactly does it work?

^^^ register, search and apply but i dont want to risk giving away my info for a fake website.

The SCA is not fake. Not hardly. It’s one of the oldest internship organizations around and places thousands of interns around the country each year with federal agencies such as the National Park Service, Forest Service, Fish and Wildlife Service, etc., along with many state and local park and conservation agencies. All placements are stipended, cover transportation costs and provide housing, along with AmeriCorps benefits.

If you’re interested in conservation careers, there is no better place to start. Nine months ago I was trying to figure out how to avoid moving back in with the parents. After a six-month SCA internship, I’m now a federal park ranger in a career-track appointment and start a fully-funded master’s program at Indiana University in the fall.

If you have any questions about the SCA, drop me a line. I can’t recommend it more highly. Absolutely legit :)

thank you polarscribe, now i can freely search without worrying :)

why is it that when i attempt to proceed to “go to application” from my profile, i get the error that says: warning, You attempted to reach rm.thesca.org, but the server presented a certificate issued by an entity that is not trusted by your computer’s operating system. This may mean that the server has generated its own security credentials, which Google Chrome cannot rely on for identity information, or an attacker may be trying to intercept your communications.
