Any intls admitted?

<p>just out of curiosity, how many international students have already got acceptance letters from Amherst? i know only bogororo.( and me!)
when I look at williams or swarthmore threads, there seem to be a lot intls but amherst seem pretty empty! wondering why…?!</p>

<p>btw, how is the atmosphere at amherst regarding foreign students? It’s interesting how people in the states speak a lot about ‘fit’ and ‘personal feel’ or the ‘student body’ when decide on the ‘right’ college… those are the things we ( at least from my parents perspective) seldom consider ( or never at all!) i chose amherst mainly b/c i want to try st entirely different! ( hopefully) where i live, universities are just places to study and that’s it. period.</p>

<p>in all seriousness I don't know much about the subject. I just remember reading the occasional post on the daily jolt or some other message board about some foreign guy at amherst getting inordinate amounts of attention. I'm sure you'll be well-accepted at amherst.</p>
