Any lawyers on the board?

Parents, are any of you by chance a lawyer? Applicants, do you have parents who are a lawyer who could find it in their heart to help me? It has been drawn to my attention that my honors thesis, which has been approved by the University, may be against the law. Long story. If anyone could help please PM me as I really would rather not get in legal trouble for an honors thesis!

Thank you so very much!
Mike

Irish- I am not a lawyer but I would suggest you place your post on the Parents Forum. I know several of the parents there are lawyers.

I definitely may head over there, thanks for the heads up. I got a meeting with a third year law student so hopefully he can help some. If not, I will go there. Thanks!

wow... sounds like a stickey situation..... good luck with that

Did I mention that the group that called it to my attention is the wonderful organization called Residence Life? Yeah, it hasn't been a fun day and it is a very long story that I may get into later if you are interested.

I am..... enlighten me

We had signs in the dorms advertising my honors thesis and apparently you need to get those approved, so I got a message from Res Life this morning saying get them down or else. Additionally, I was told that they were unsure of my study's legality so I should investigate that to cover my you know what. I am pretty sure I have that covered, but I will double check it just in case. Either way, it is a huge setback as we were already struggling to get participants!

wow... that sounds sketchy...

hope everything comes out alright
