<p>I got placed in Bowles, which I think may actually be a pretty cool place to stay. The problem is it is across campus from the FPF building and I am not entirely comfortable being in somewhere that is all guys. Otherwise, Bowles seems pretty cool as it looks like Hogwartz, has HUGE rooms (quad rooms with 2 "bedrooms" housing 2 people on each side of a large common room), an amazing view of Berkeley and the bay, is directly next to the Greek Theater (you basically get free concerts), has cool traditions (like singing to ladies of Stern every week), and has great camaraderie among Bowlesmen. I would like to switch to a Unit triple or double. If you are interested, let me know ASAP! :)</p>

<p>I saw someone else that found someone to switch with out of Bowles in the Units. I know it isn’t impossible.</p>
<p>I’m in Bowles as an FPF student as well. I’ve heard from a friend’s brother (who RA’d at Bowles for a couple years) that it’s really not as bad as people think. He said to give it a chance. It sucks that it’ll be so far away from the FPF building, but I think the bike ride will make for good exercise. </p>
