However I transferred in as an upper division student from a community college. I can tell you that I have enjoyed Professor Whitney’s classes the best so far (albeit I received my lowest grades in her classes) ARE 157 is really practical. Professor Bay Butlers business organization class is also filled with GREAT practical information but his structure is brutal to deal with. I see your post is from 2005 but hopefully this little bit of random information is helpful to someone else. Don’t be afraid to ask anything else you may want to know. The managerial Economics program at UC Davis is Fantastic. I feel that one of the best choices I ever made in my life was to get involved with this program.

what kind of jobs do people normally get with a bs in man econ? is it any good for accounting? i know the school offers three classes in accounting, which isn't enough to qualify to sit for the cpa exam, but a couple of the big 4 still recruit here. would you suggest getting a master's in accounting after graduating with a bachelor's in man econ, or is it possible to build a strong enough accounting background while in the man econ program?

im also interested in this major and deciding between uc davis econ. or sac state business/finance…
