Well, people who actually attend CPP?

I haven’t found really any information on it at all on what it’s like, so I thought I’d ask!

How are the teachers? Do math majors have a tough time compared to engineers?
Do the classes train you well for graduate school and industry?
Are your peers motivated? Do math majors become friendly with each other or is it cutt throat?

My friends are entering as engineering majors and I’m the only math major out of us to come there, so we will develop a new set of friends I assume in addition to our own. Any success stories of people going on to Cal, UCLA, or an ivy from CPP?

Is it worth double majoring in physics? What do people think about when you tell them you’re a math major in a school mainly known for architecture, hospitality, or engineering? What are the math advisors like?

How does a CPP math degree hold up to a UC math degree?
