Hey, I am a junior and I am considering applying to NCF next year... I was just wondering, are there any current students here? I have some questions... thanks alot

ok, since no one seems to be responding, i will just go ahead and post some of my questions...

Is the campus really on the bayfront?

Can you walk to Lido Beach from the campus?

Is it true that it is very hard to graduate from NCF because of the senior year thesis project and the ISPs?

How are the parties?

Are there ANY conservative people there?

Any comments at all???

thanks!

i've visited my friend rebecca there and
1) yes, the campus really is on the bayfront ( and the sunsets are killer)
2) i wouldn't walk to the beach, id probably ride my bike
3) the senior year thesis is a *****, as any large paper would be, but its not like youd do it all on ur own.......you get SO much help and guidance from faculty. you have to be driven to go here, as there are no grades.
4) the parties mostly take place in the courtyard of this dorm, and they are actually really fun. u sign up to throw the party, and u post on like the student website wut the theme of ur party (known as a "wall"(???dont know why???)) is, cuz ncf students r suckers for themes, and everyone kinda just congregates late on friday night and have loud speakers blasting music. it's fun cuz the people there r known for their laid-back attitudes and acceptance of stuff, you can just be yourself and dance all funky and just have a good time.
5) yes, there are conservative ppl there, and both of them are very cool. hahahaha i'm just joking i'm sure there are several in the economics departments, but trust me, libs are the OVERWHELMING majority, it actually kinda weirded me out cuz im pretty far to the right and for ppl to be so tolerant of all these strange things ( transsexuality, drug use, etc) was realllllllllly different.
6) hope this helped!

thank you so much
