Any news on EDII Decisions?

I'm wondering if anyone has an ear into the Carleton admission office with respect to the time when EDII decisions will be mailed; I'm going partly insane due to all the different possible mailing/arrival scenarios, but I'm not insane enough yet to call after I consider the sad fact that the 15th is more than a week away.

Also, if you live in Minnesota (less the rural areas and more in Minneapolis/St Paul and their environs, since that is where I assume the mail is sorted) I'd also be interested in knowing the day you get your decision, since that would likely tell me (I live in Wisconsin's second largest city) that I'd be hearing on the next mailing date.

Looking back to last year it appears that the decisions were mailed on the first Friday in February, which was the 6th, but as they say in the world of financial instruments, past performance does not guarantee future results. If that continued this year, Monday would be D-day for me considering length of delivery time from Northfield in other communiqu

The only thing I’ve heard is 140 students were admitted EDI. Haven’t heard any updates about EDII.

Good luck!

Last year when I was obsessing about my ED (I) decision, I stalked all of the old threads on here. It seems like they are pretty consistent with mailing days from year to year (as in “first friday”, “second Monday”, etc.). I would start checking the mailbox on Monday. :)

I applied EDII also and have been obsessively checking my mailbox since about January 16th. I live in the Minneapolis area and will let you know when I get my decision - though I doubt I’ll get in : (

Best of luck!

I got mine today (Feb. 6th) so you’ll probably get yours tomorrow.

annavee: good news or bad? (If you care to say.)

Congratulations, annavee!

Good luck to the rest of you awaiting the decision!

Today is D-DAY? Is there anyone else receiving good news?

Annavee’s statement would imply that the messages left Northfield on Friday.

…but the US postal service is both evil and heartless at the same time, so depending on witchcraft and Government bureaucracy and weather you’ll get your decision… sometime. I’m expecting mine today, ergo D-day, not in the beaches of Normandy on June 6th sense, but in the Delivery-day sense.

That felt a lot like when I free associate with my Music theory teacher. Sorry if it was less than comprehensible.

We live in New York. A Carleton envelope arrived in today’s mail. I am waiting for my son to open it when he gets home.

I live in New Jersey and got my envelope today. Accepted!

For those who got accepted, can you tell me what you got in your envelope? I got accepted ED I and i’m just curious if there are any differences in what our acceptance packages consisted of
