The Facebook group has a lot of students from the Class of 2013. Should I join anyways?

In regards to my stats,

Academics:
GPA 93 Average.
ACT 27.
7 APs by the time I graduate.

Main Extracurriculars.
Indian Classical Dance (Professional).
Cataract Research.
Yearbook Editor-in-Chief.
Volunteer two days/week (~350 hours altogether).
Violin.

Hope that helps!

I would love to know fellow Carls’ stats tooo! Please post :)

Pestofesto: The '14 group is chock-full of '13-ers because we’re nerds and love answering questions about our school. Seriously, I’ve almost stopped checking the “Ask a freshman” discussion because whenever someone asks a question I can answer, three other people have jumped on it before I’ve even seen it. :)

But you should definitely join. By April there will be around 500 members, and it’s a great way to get to know people while you’re counting down the days until you arrive on campus.

Thank you, mflevity!

Congrats to all!

Did anyone receive a roommate preference form in the acceptance package? I live in Vietnam. I got my acceptance letter 5 days ago but I can’t find that roommate form anywhere. Anyone? :)

From what I remember, I think you get the roommate preference form (as well as other paperwork) more toward the end of the academic year/beginning of summer.

The roommate preference form is online, and you won’t get access to it until everyone has been accepted (so close to the end of the year, like involved mom said).

You guys should check out the class of 2013 new student page. It should keep you busy for a couple of hours. :)
