Any non-work study jobs on/close to campus?

<p>I'm not going to have any money left aside from money I am saving over the summer. As of now I have a job at Best Buy and my boss told me if I wanted he can get in touch with people over at the Muller Airport Best Buy (never been there but it's the closest one to campus apparently) but since I have no car I'd rather have a job that is walking distance (that and I'm kind of sick of retail).</p>

<p>I've looked at hirealonghorn.com but most of the stuff I am finding are outside campus. I'm aiming to transfer into RTF (only got into UGS when I transferred) so something somewhat related to film/broadcasting would be nice. Of course it's not really the most important thing. I'm mostly looking for something that's flexible with hours, decent pay (anything over $8.00 would be fine), and within walking distance to campus. Anybody know of anything</p>

<p>I can’t help much, but I can offer this: a lot of UT students live and work off campus. Many have jobs near where they live instead of near campus, so they work all over the city. Unfortunately, except for the UT shuttles, Austin public transportation is pretty much worthless and without a car your options are going to be limited, so if you find a job that’s halfway decent, don’t pass it up.</p>
