I wanna know if anyone has got declined yet or they waiting to send those out at the end of march :(?

According to all of the previous years threads most of the rejections came out around march 20 th and later so it would be surprising they changed it all of a sudden. What are your stats?? Have you been admitted yet??

my gpa is low and sat for irvine 3.6 weighted and 3.3 unweighted. SAT score is 1650 and my major is pharmaceutical sciences … i know not to have high hopes up but im juts curious. I know many people with high stats but havent gotten in yet .

Never lose hope anything is possible dude pharmaceutical sciences is not impacted as far as I know how were your ECs and how were your essays UCI really
looks at those I think.
I was nervous too while my GPA and SAT were in line (UC GPA 4.2 and 1850 SAT) I only took 2 APs 10-11 grade had no ecs average essays and my only hook was being ELC but I was surprised to be admitted last thursday…
Once again dont lose hope you never know what could happen and there are always other schools out there

** Hate to go off topic**I guess also I know this is bad but can I get rescinded for this?? On my junior year it says I took four classes but in reality I took five classes. On 8th grade it says I took Art but I didnt. The class that was missing was from junior year was Physics CP… I got As both semesters and my UC GPA with this included is around a 4.22 I messaged them about this and Im praying it is nothing. Am I completely screwed?? Should I call and be prepared to send my transcripts early just in case?? Since my correct transcipts still has the same amount of A-G semesters from 7th to 12th grade on the application and all the requirements are completed or in progress. Should I be prepared to go to my backup school Cal Poly Pomona as well?? UCI is my dream school and I hope can stay in
I also did more calculations and my UC GPA without the physics class is 4.25 but with it is 4.22 is this slight difference in my transcript compared to my application going to get me rescinded even though the A-G semesters are calculated as the same no matter what and everything is fulfilled

UChopeful928,

In my opinion it shouldn’t get you rescinded… but you never know with these things… best thing is to just communicate with them and see where you’re at.

@junshik

Oh ok then Im a little relieved I already sent them a message through the zot portal but havent received a reply but should I also call them directly tomorrow about the situation and will calling them affect my application in any way??

@ucirvine789

Sorry to kind of hijack your thread Im worried too
Once again always have hope and remember that UC’s look at all parts of your application

I have a 4.1 UC gpa and a 1850 sat
bio major
I felt like my personal statements were pretty solid and personal
i havent gotten anything yet, im kinda worried?

@elemental951
I had 4.2 UC GPA and the same SAT and ELC and overall average essays but applied to computer science and engineering major and got accepted last week so I think you have a really great chance of being admitted

Oh darn… I got the Supplement on the 26th, submitted it on the 27th. CS and EE major. I did not hear back yet.

Thanks guys for all the feedback much appreciateddd goodluck to everyone who applieddd

@elemental951
You might have some competition because of your major but with your sat and gpa im pretty sure your fine mann

Hi guys I’m really nervous because uci is one of my top choices and I think I have a really low gpa
My uc gpa is only a 3.86 but my test scores at 1990 sat and 30 act. I applies for biological sciences major, what do you guys think? I’m majorly stressing! And congrats uchopeful for your acceptance!!

How is 3.86 UC “really low.” That’s only slightly below the admitted average, and right about the enrolled average. Plus your scores are above average. You should be fine.

I’m majorly stressing out about this stuff as well… 3.47 UC GPA, 2110 SAT, 730 and 700 SAT II subject tests, 950hrs comm service, 1600 hours intern, great essays. My GPA is killing me obviously but other than that, do you guys think that I’ll be rejected? I applied for Electrical Engineering as my first choice major and Undeclared for my second choice major.

UC GPA 4.18
ACT 29
Major Comp Sci Eng

Do I have a chance? :(

@Panther
I think you have a good shot…gpa is low but your sat is really good, ec’s are pretty good.

what about me, 3.67 uc gpa and 1960 sat score, majoring in political science?
