let me know

No, I haven't heard yet...but they sent letters saying you can check after 9 a.m EST on Saturday (the 19th). Good luck! I'm nervous....

are you from around fairfield?

Not really. I'm from NH, about 3-4 hours away. I did visit, though.

i am, i live 15 minutes away from campus...goodluck, lemme know when you here

I can't get it to load!!! This is driving me crazy! I wonder if it's because I tried to check it at midnight- I didn't see that the letter says "on but not before March 19 [at 9 am]". I'm going to have to go to someone's house and try their computer. Did you get it to work?

Nevermind!! It worked!! I'm in!!!!

It also worked for me. Accepted to Fairfield

Congrats, Dunk. Are you going? Where's Fairfield rank for you?

I won't be going there. I used to live in Fairfield actually and as nice as it was it wouldn't be a change. I would know everything and I think I wanna go somewhere new for college.

I got in as well...It was one of my top choices, however, I got into one of my reach schoools (syracuse) so I am not sure now. I haven't visited syracuse yet, so its nice to have a nice school to fall back on if I dont like 'cuse. I do really like fairifield though, my girlfriend of 2 years is a freshman there and she really seems to like it as well. where does it rank for you missariella?

in yours was there any scholarship info?

nope no scholarship info in mine.

No scholarship info in mine either.
I really like the programs they offer and was very impressed with the campus. However, I am not catholic, and it seemed from my visit like not only would I definitely be in the minority, but that it would feel that way too. I am not religious at all but the school I am coming from is very open minded and the multidenominational church offered the chance to learn about dozens of religions. When I asked my tour guide if similar opportunities exisited at Fairfield, she just shrugged and said she was "pretty sure there was some Protestant club." I knew going into it that Fairfield was a Jesuit school, and was actually attracted to it's commitment to community service as such, but if I can't have religious diversity I'd at least like to be surrounded by open minded students.
So I'm not sure where it ranks yet...

i found out online this morning and then in the mail this afternoon, no scholarship info in either...

I got my acceptance letter in mid-January, and there was scholarship information in it then. I don't know if they have people who have already deferred admission and scholarships that will be distributed to other people, but I'm pretty sure most of the scholarship information has already been sent out.

Congrats on being accepted, though!

Financial aid will be mailed before the first. Anyone know how theya re about that?

Fairfield U is pretty generous. Oh yeah since I used to live in Fairfield I can tell you this if you go to Fairfield U you will be going to the Seagrape let that one be known and also you will become all too familiar with la Salsa (the best quick and cheap mexican around)

Actually, I got my scholarship aid to fairfield in Feb. I heard back then too and went to a specail program, I'm not exactly sure how they picked me- one of my friends also applied and has higher SAT's and their own businessand they didn't hear early (I applied regular). But, I'm not entirely sure about the other scholarship stuff. I know only about 200 students heard early though...

My acceptance letter said Fin aid awards would come no later than April 1st. It's the 4th and nothing.... Not that there's any chance I'm going to Fairfield, but I'd still like to know.
