Norton has much more to offer...IMO

BTW...here's a good place to start:

very informative and has most of the stuff along w/other stuff i'm testing out as well

if you use Ad Aware, its best to tweak it and use custom scan settings as this gets the full benefit of this program

avg - free

Ad-Aware, Spyware Begone, Stopzilla (for blocking pop-ups)

I use PC-cillin Internet Security2005 (from Trend Micro), which I think is really effective. It doesn't eat up too much ram and doesn't get in the way either. I got it after seeing it as first on a number of rankings, and haven't been dissapointed. It has antivirus, a firewall, vunerability checker and anti spyware. It also has some extra stuff, for example it scans my incoming mail in outlook and marks the spam with a tag so I can filter it to the junk folder. The filter is a lot more accurate than outlook's own. It can do this for webmail too. It also has wifi intrusion detection and some other stuff I don't need. Pair this with Microsoft AntiSpyware and you'll be set.

found the place again to customize your Ad-Aware so it does what its suppose to plus more

this place along w/the aforementioned got my IE up again…who hoo~

For some reason I can access that website 2skys1limit3 can you recommend another plz?I didn't know I could customize my Ad-Aware I have it installed though.....I think I need to read the label more!!!
