<p>Did anyone else get this letter (UPS style)? I was absolutely shocked and flattered that I was offered $20,000 a year to a university as selective as NYU. My stats are pretty good, but not CC-type stats. I looked up the Lewis Rudin City Scholars and apparently, it is a special scholarship given to New York City students. I applied to the Stiendhardt school as an education major. I have pretty much narrowed my future career opitions down to business or education. I was almost sure I was going to attend St. John's University, until I recieved this letter. There is also some sort of weekend program from March 25th to March 27th. Maybe I'll meet some of you there. </p>
<p>If there is anyone who received this letter? If you did, congratulations and I look forward to meeting you a couple weeks from now. Not to be pretentious, would you please post your stats so I can be sure that my letter wasn't a fluke.</p>
<p>Im from Queens. did u call to go already? im not sure if im going to nyu cuz nyu's still expensive n im still pending for other schools.. i can go to the program and not go to the school later tho right? just in case..</p>
<p>I didn't commit to attend NYu yet, although I probably will attend. Just because you go to the weekend program doesn't mean you have to attend NYU. You just have to do it if you want the scholarship. I know someone who's going who is probably not going to NYU, but is doing the weekend program anyway so he can get the scholarship if he decides to attend NYU.</p>
